The Brownville Concert Series is back and is excited to announce its 31st fabulous season. Exceptional musicianship in a small, intimate venue creates an experience unlike any other. Brownville audiences are up close and personal with the artists, become part of the show, and feel enveloped in the music. This year’s line-up includes the following:

April 22-24, 2022: Todd Murray & Stacy Sullivan – I’m Glad There Is You! The musical romance of Frank Sinatra and Peggy Lee: from the time they first shared the stage in 1941 at the Paramount Theater in Times Square until Frank’s passing in 1998, Peggy Lee and Frank Sinatra remained the closest of friends and musical peers.

May 13-15, 2022: Jeff Harnar: Because of You – Fifties Gold. Award-winning New York nightclub and concert artist Jeff Harnar returns to the Brownville Concert Series for the ninth time with his critically acclaimed show. The show taps into his parents’ record collection, highlighting songs from Tony Bennett, Johnny Mathis, Nat King Cole, Doris Day, and Johnnie Ray songbooks.

June 24-26, 2022: Oye Como Va – Santana Tribute. Experience the live energy of Oye Como Va that pays tribute to one of the greatest artists of all time – Santana. The  band rocks with a full line up of congas, timbales, drums, bass, guitar, keyboard, singers and lead guitarist Marcos Mora.

July 15-17, 2022: The Darryl White Quartet. The quartet plays a wonderful mixture of traditional jazz, contemporary styles and even jazz spirituals. In 2020, Darryl White recorded his fifth record. This record was a wonderful and heartfelt tribute to all those who dealt with loss of loved ones and injustice. Much of the music from this album will be featured on this concert along with a sprinkling of traditional jazz that includes music from Louis Armstrong to Miles Davis.

August 12-14, 2022: Amra-Faye Wright. Award winning triple threat actress Amra-Faye is best known for her long running role as Velma Kelly in the hit musical “Chicago” on Broadway. She has performed on the international stage for 30 years, starring in numerous musical revues, in multiple languages, as lead artist in the Cabaret du Casino, Monte Carlo.

September 16-18, 2022: Tim Sullivan, Western Singer/Songwriter. Tim Sullivan has been a featured performer with Vince Gill, Willie Nelson, Alan Jackson, Tammy Wynette, and Glen Campbell. He has entertained at venues across the country from “The Crazy Horse” in Los Angeles to “Town Hall” on Broadway in New York City.

October 14-16, 2022: Christine Andreas – Piaf, No Regrets. Christine Andreas brings her newest, highly acclaimed Edith Piaf tribute to Brownville. According to Stephen Holden of the New York Times, “Andreas’ ravishing voice and snapping emotional electricity, has made her a potent interpreter of Piaf.” Holden also credits her with, “most thrilling rendition of ‘La Vie en Rose’ this side of Edith Piaf.”

November 13, 2022: Steven Banks, Saxophone Soloist. Recognized for his “glowing mahogany tone” (Seen and Heard International) and “breathtaking” (Classical Voice of NC) performances, Steven Banks is establishing himself as an important young artist on the saxophone, which is rarely heard as a solo concert instrument.

December 9-11, 2022: Christmas Gala – White Christmas. Brownville favorites KT Sullivan, Jeff Harnar, Todd Murray and Stacy Sullivan unite for a fun Christmas show featuring the music of White Christmas and many other beloved movie and Broadway holiday tunes.
