Peru State College and its president, Dr. Michael Evans, granted degrees to 192 undergraduates on Saturday, May 7, 2022, in the Al Wheeler Activity Center on the campus of the College. More than 2,500 people attended the ceremony in the Al Wheeler Activity Center which was followed by a reception on the campus quad.

Atchison County residents receiving degrees were as follows:

Tristan Bryan Henagan, Rock Port, Bachelor of Science in English, summa cum laude (3.9 to 4.0 grade point average)

Gretchen Maybelle Tharp, Rock Port, Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Arts

Katarina Marie Bennett, Tarkio, Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education, summa cum laude (3.9 to 4.0 grade point average)

Representatives of the Peru State College Foundation – Jeff Greenwald, chair, and Al Urwin, secretary – presented each graduate who walked with a welcoming gift to the National Alumni Association.
