Exciting things are happening at the old Avalanche building in Tarkio. The Atchison County Health Department purchased the building in the spring and workers have been busy throughout the summer and fall and are now getting the inside remodeled to accommodate the new Health Center facility. The building space will allow the clinic to grow and better meet the needs of the community, offer an improved patient experience, and serve even more people efficiently. Stay tuned for updates as the Atchison County Health Department continues to improve its services for you! Move-in and opening of the new facility is projected to be the summer of 2025.
