The Atchison County Commission met Thursday, February 13, 2025. Present were: Presiding Commissioner Curtis Livengood, South District Commissioner Richard Burke, North District Commissioner Jim Quimby, and Susette Taylor, Clerk of the Commission.
Presiding Commissioner Livengood called the meeting to order.
Minutes of the previous meeting were read and approved.
Bills were reviewed and approved for payment.
Month-end department reports were reviewed and approved.
Rhonda Wiley, Emergency Management/E-911 Director, met with the commission to discuss department matters and report on moving from Text Caster to Code Red. There will be an ungraded drill held on Tuesday, February 18.
Clerk Taylor and the commission continued to review the lease agreement with Prime Healthcare Management and Eliot Berger. Clerk Taylor will convey the correct lease amount to Prime Healthcare and see if they can set up a regular payment for the lease amount.
Agreements for services provided by Midwest Data Center for cyber security and software maintenance were updated, reviewed, and signed.
An application for a county credit card was reviewed and signed by Presiding Commissioner Livengood to be processed. This will allow the county card to be used to make hotel reservations, etc., and take that burden off the office holder.
There being no further business, the commission adjourned.
