Rock Port High School hosted a scholar bowl meet Tuesday, March 18. Scholar bowl team members, from left to right, include: front row – Mya Welch, Logan Lomax, Malachi Skillen, and Lily Wilroy; and back row – Alyssa Brion and Spencer Newbanks.

The Rock Port Scholar Bowl team traveled to Oregon, Missouri, to compete Thursday, March 6. Results are as follows: Rock Port – 330, South Holt – 210; Rock Port – 350, South Nodaway – 110; and Rock Port – 250, Osborne – 150. Individual points were: Malachi Skillen – 220, Lily Wilroy – 100, and Mya Welch – 20.

The Scholar Bowl Team competed at DeKalb Tuesday, March 11. Results are as follows: Rock Port – 260, Nodaway-Holt – 250; Rock Port – 260, DeKalb – 110; Rock Port – 220, Tarkio – 180. Individual points were: Malachi Skillen – 250, Lily Wilroy – 30, Mya Welch – 20, and Logan Lomax – 10.

Results for the Rock Port team are as follows: Rock Port 330, Fairfax 80; and Rock Port 270, North Nodaway 70. Stewartsville lost to Rock Port by forfeit. Individual points for the night were: Malachi Skillen 120, Lily Wilroy 70, and Logan Lomax 30.

Fairfax went 2-1 for the night.

Results for the Fairfax team are as follows: Fairfax 130, North Nodaway 130-50; and Fairfax 80, Rock Port 330. Stewartsville lost to Fairfax by forfeit.

Individual points for the night were: Cowen O’Riley 80, Amelia Larson 10, Clayton Vernon 10, and Kendall Kingery 10.
