The Gary G. Taylor Charitable Trust, U.S. Bank, N.A. Trustee awarded Tarkio Tech a $11,351 grant for the elevator project. The Taylor Trust had recently provided funding for handicapped access from the street to The Curnutt Center on the Tarkio Tech campus. With these additional funds, visitors, alumni and local community members will have access to all three floors in The Curnutt Center, which includes the Rotary Theatre, Sid Cooper Banquet Hall, Thompson Library, offices and classrooms, the David Rankin Museum, Hoot & Holler, Ruffled Feathers, and Hope N Reigns Counseling. The Taylor Trust recognizes and rewards organizations like Tarkio Tech that provide valuable services to the community.
