UPDATE: East Atchison homecoming basketball games have been postponed to February 18 due to incoming winter weather. The chili supper will still take place Friday, January 23, from 5 to 7 p.m. in the Tarkio Elementary Cafeteria. Stay tuned for the new date of the 3rd grade parachute routine performance.

Tarkio and Fairfax high schools are celebrating East Atchison winter homecoming this week. The week will end with the Wolves and Lady Wolves taking on Osborn/Stewartsville at the Tarkio Activity Center (TAC) on Friday, January 23. Games will begin at 6:00 p.m. and the crowning of the Fairfax and Tarkio homecoming kings and queens will take place following the games.

The CTA will be hosting a chili supper in the Tarkio Elementary Cafeteria beginning at 5:00 p.m. Friday, January 23. The Tarkio Elementary third graders will be performing their annual parachute routine at halftime of the girls’ varsity game that night at the TAC.
