Atchison County deputies, with the assistance of the Northwest Missouri Drug Strike Force, executed a search warrant January 14, 2026, in Westboro, Missouri. Controlled substances were discovered in the residence during the search.

One individual was arrested on a 24-hour investigative hold for Possession of a Controlled Substance. A probable cause statement was submitted to the Atchison County Prosecutor, resulting in a warrant being issued by the Atchison County Circuit Court for Frank Kephart, Westboro. The warrant was issued for Distribution of a Controlled Substance in a Protected Location, Possession of a Controlled Substance, Tampering with Physical Evidence, and Resisting/Interfering with Arrest for a Felony. A bond was issued at $15,000. (All subjects are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.)
