Tarkio Lions Club member Larry Hicks plants the field next to the old Tarkio Water Plant along Hwy. 136 in Tarkio. The field, donated by the Board of Public Works, is planted and harvested by the Lions Club, with funds from the sale of the corn being used for community projects and organizations in need. Grebe Pioneer Seed in Tarkio donated the seed corn and Mo Valley Ag in Rock Port donated the fertlizing and spraying of the field.
