Atchison County has a wide variety of interesting looking squirrels running around. From blacks, to browns, to blacks and browns, to squirrels with white tails, to squirrels with no hair on their tails, there isn’t much we haven’t seen. However, this unique squirrel was recently “discovered” and his color pattern is one most have never seen. This white, black, brown, and reddish-brown squirrel is turning heads from passers-by in one local Atchison County town. We will keep his location secret to hopefully keep him safe. But once the snow falls, he’ll actually have an advantage of blending in compared to his fellow furry friends.
