As the regular basketball season comes to an end, area teams are preparing for the first round of District Basketball.
The Class 1- District 16 Tournment is schedled to take place February 21-25 in Mound City, Missouri. First up, the Rock Port Blue Jays (9-12) will face off against Nodaway-Holt (11-10) on February 20 at 5:45 p.m. The first round for the Rock Port Lady Jays (18-4) will be against North Nodaway (11-11) on February 21 at 5:45 p.m.
Class 2-District 16 Tournament will be held February 20-24 in Faucett, Missouri at Mid-Buchanan High School.The East Atchison Lady Wolves (15-7) will face off against Plattsburg (12-8) on February 20 at 5:50 p.m. The East Atchison Wolves (15-7) will play their first round against Maysville (11-11) on February 21 at 8:30 p.m.
