Left undetected over time, high blood pressure can lead to heart attacks, strokes, heart failure, vision loss, kidney disease or failure and many other significant health issues. That’s why Community Hospital-Fairfax (CH-F) staff members are hitting the road in February to take 500 blood pressures across Atchison, Nodaway and Holt Counties.
CH-F staff will be posted at nine different locations across the Community Hospital-Fairfax service area. A complete schedule is available online at www.FairfaxMed.com, on the hospital’s Facebook page and on page 6 of this paper. Those interested may also call 660-686-2317 for more information.
The only way to avoid risks associated with high blood pressure is to have your blood pressure checked. This is a great time to do so in a location convenient to you.
