The Missouri Association of Counties (MAC) held their 2017 Annual Conference at Tan-Tar-A in November. With a high attendance of Missouri county officials, great speakers and informative presentations it was a very educational conference where the 2017 legislative and Missouri County Government platforms were adopted.
At the conference the following were elected to serve as executive officers for the coming year: President and Warren County Assessor Wendy Nordwald; President-Elect and Dallas County Treasurer Becky Schofield; 2nd Vice President and Cape Girardeau County Presiding Commissioner Clint Tracy; 3rd Vice President and Andrew County Collector Phil Rogers; Treasurer and Atchison County Clerk Susette Taylor; and Past President and Cooper County Clerk Darryl Kempf. This dedicated group will lead MAC, along with the board of directors, through 2017.
