The Music Department at Rock Port United Methodist Church will be highlighted during the 10:45 AM Worship Service on Sunday, December 18. The Miracle Ringers under the direction of Sharon Greenwalt, will play for the Opening of Worship, and the Adult Choir will be presenting Go Tell It!, a Christmas Musical by Jack Shrader.
The musical tells of the birth of Jesus Christ, and it utilizes narration with Scriptural quotes from the prophetic writings of the Old Testament and the Gospels. Mr. Shrader has composed new works and re-arranged some familiar Christmas carols. The choir is under the direction of Linda Winkelman.
Rock Port UMC is located two blocks west of Main Street at the corner of Opp and Nebraska Streets. There is plenty of parking, and the building is accessible. Child care for pre-school children is available.
