The Fairfax Avenue of Flags will be displayed in the city park on Memorial Day, Friday, November 11, 2016. Volunteers are needed to help raise the flags at 7:30 a.m. that morning and lower them at 4:00 p.m. that afternoon. The Avenue of Flags project is under the direction of the local American Legion Post.
