At this year’s Annual Quilt show the” Two Budts & a Hug” sisters are coming to town.
For the past 11 years Linda Hug, Delta Budt and Donna Budts have competed in their own quilting challenge to improve their skills, strengthen their family ties and just have fun together.
Sewing has always been part of their lives. The sisters grew up sewing with their mother, Elzada Schneider in Johnson, Nebraska. The sisters all live in Nebraska. Linda in Auburn, Delta in Cook and Donna in Lincoln. Delta and Donna married brothers (Budt), Linda married a Hug. Their mother always said that she had two Budts and a Hug, therefore the sisters group became “Two Budts and a Hug”.
The sisters are quite the trio and will be presenting their most recent quilting challenge at 2:00 p.m., November 5, 2016 at the 3rd Annual Rock Port Board of Tourism Quilt Show and Me Market. They will also have completed projects on display.
