SCARECROWS ARE EVERYWHERE! – Including at Jane and John Walter’s residence above and in the tree in front of Northwest Martial Arts and Sharlyn’s Beauty Den above left. Prizes will be awarded to one resident and one business for their scarecrows. If you want your scarecrow to be judged, you must call the Avalanche by 5 p.m. Friday, October 28, to register (660-736-4111). Winners will be announced in the November 3 Avalanche.
