The area club presented to Rock Port FFA , 60 practice rounds of trapshooting. This represents 1,500 clay targets the ffa team can use to learn gun safety and sharpen their shotgun shooting skills.
The team practices regularly at the Atchison County Shooting Sports range located south of Rock Port, owned and operated by Wally Riebesell, along with the help of area shooters Jack Kruse, Jim Clodfelter and Tom Howard.
The North Missouri Sportsman Club is dedicated to helping youth in the outdoors and recognizes the need for teaching area youth the shooting sports for recreation, competition and hunting.
The Sportsman Club holds an outdoor shooting and golf triathlon fundraiser each August,with all proceeds funding youth in the outdoors activities.
