The Tarkio Rotary Club is holding a couple of fundraisers to earn money for club projects, including a project to purchase shades for the Tarkio Municipal Pool.
On Friday, September 16, help out the Rotary Club by dining on all-you-can-eat pancakes (and sausage) provided by Chris Cakes. The meal will be held from 4:30 to 7 p.m. at Tarkio Elementary, in conjunction with the East Atchison vs. Rock Port football game. The funds from this event will be divided up between the Tarkio Rotary Club and the Rock Port Rotary Club, which is trying to raise funds for the Rock Port Rotary El Salvador Global Grant. Adults can eat for $7 and children under 12 can eat for $5.
The Tarkio Rotarians are hosting barbecues every Saturday through October 29 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Hy-Vee in Tarkio. Stop by the store and pick up a scrumptious lunch!
