The Watson Quilters met Thursday night and made a road trip. Holly Holmes, Anita Armstrong, Francis Nahkunst, Linda Viets, Rosita Stoner, and Kay Gibson visited Anna Beth Wennihan’s “Quilted Farm”. We had a nice evening checking out her new quilting shop. She served ice tea, lemonade, and cupcakes. Her open house will be this Saturday, the 25th, from 9 am. To 3 pm.
A PUPPY?
Some people have a puppy to hug and cuddle. I have a quilt. It doesn’t have to be the old threadbare quilt from my childhood, any quilt will do.
Some people take their puppies for walks. I take my quilt for naps.
Some people spend a lot of money for special food for their puppy. My quilt is low maintenance.
Some people get a bath when they bathe their puppy. I use the hand wash cycle on the washing machine.
Sometimes people have to put their puppy to sleep. That’s sad. My quilt puts me to sleep. That’s happy.
Puppies are really cute. Maybe I will make me a puppy quilt.
