Rock Port FBLA members Kelcie Gaines and Beth Davis created a Dodgeball Tournament for their FBLA Community Service Project. They wanted to organize a community event that would also benefit a local organization. They chose to donate the proceeds to the Atchison County C.A.R.E. House.

They hosted a dodgeball tournament on Saturday, February 16. Five teams participated and the tournament raised enough money to reach their goal of $300. The winning team was “Team Daugherty and Friends.”

Combined with another service project of providing childcare on Valentine’s Day for parents, the Rock Port High School FBLA will present the C.A.R.E. House with a $500 donation. Beth and Kelcie will present their service project at  state FBLA April 14-16 in Springfield.
