The Atchison County Commission did not meet February 7, 2019. All three commissioners were attending mandatory training in Columbia, Missouri.
The Commission did not meet February 12, 2019, due to Lincoln’s Birthday.
The Commission met on February 14, 2019. Present were: Presiding Commissioner Curtis Livengood, North District Commissioner Jim Quimby, South District Commissioner Richard Burke, and Susette Taylor, Clerk of the Commission.
Presiding Commissioner Livengood called the meeting to order.
Minutes of the previous meeting were read and approved. Bills were reviewed and approved.
Department monthly reports were reviewed and approved.
Road and Bridge Supervisor Adam Meyer presented the state bid for a new 2019 F-250 Pickup in the amount of $37,835. Numbers were within the 2019 budget and the commissioners approved and accepted the state bid.
The commissioners reviewed documents as presented by Attorney Ivan Schraeder for the Public Service Commission hearing in Jefferson City February 19 – 21. They also prepared a counter offer to settle with Ameren on lost tax revenue.
There being no further business, the commission adjourned.
