Dirk Peterson, 2017 Chair of the Board of Directors and Steve Martin, Immediate Past Chair of the Board of Directors, presented Amber Cook with the Roy Smith scholarship. Amber, a 2015 Rock Port, Mo. graduate, is currently in her second year at Peru State College where she is studying Business Administration, CMIS, and Organizational Leadership and Management. The scholarship, awarded to six deserving business students attending a recognized Nebraska college or university, was presented at the annual Nebraska Business Hall of Fame Banquet held at the Cornhusker Marriott in Lincoln, Neb. Noteworthy attendees included Governor Pete Ricketts, Phillip Nelson, Tonn Ostergard, William Theison, and many Nebraska state senators and CEOs. Amber is the daughter of Sonny and Cheryl Cook of Rock Port.
