Megan Ingram, owner of Burlap and Bows, LLC, has turned her love of crafting into a business that will bring more crafters together for quarterly vendors shows for the whole community to enjoy.
Saturday, March 9, 2019 will be the first Burlap and Bows Spring Vendor Showcase at the Velma Houts Building in Rock Port from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Megan has invited 30 vendors, artists and businesses to join her.
There will be something for everyone, including mini photo Spring/Easter photo sessions with Shutterbug Photography by Samantha Tanner, plus handmade crafts, direct sale businesses and much more.
Megan, who has traveled to craft shows for years, decided it would be fun to gather all of the friends she has met at various shows at one place, which is where the idea for the vendor showcase was born.
Megan officially began Burlap and Bows, LLC in September, 2018 after she and her husband Steve decided it was time to take her hobby and make it something more. The next step was creating a business, where she sells wreaths, crafts, aprons, door hangers, ornaments and more online and from her home. The Spring Vendor Showcase is a fun way to spread the news about her business while also helping others. She has also worked with brick and mortar stores in Rock Port, who will be offering special deals just for vendor show guests.
“The vendor showcase helps me get the word out about my business, as well as helps other crafts and business owners reach more of their customers. It’s a fun event that will benefit everyone,” Megan said.
