It was a gorgeous spring day for the Tarkio Easter Egg Hunt Monday, April 15, 2019. Postponed from the original date due to cold weather, organizers couldn’t have picked a more beautiful day. Hosted by O.W.L.S. and Tarkio Rehabilitation and Health Care, the event saw more than 60 children racing through the grass in search of that prized golden egg.

Winners of the walkers to age 2 division of the Tarkio Easter Egg Hunt included 1st – Ellie Hurst, and 2nd – Dallas Slemp.

Winners of the 3, 4, and 5 year-old age division of the Tarkio Easter Egg Hunt included 1st – Tucker Wheeler, and 2nd – Cayson Martin.

Winners of the 6, 7, and 8 year-old age division of the Tarkio Easter Egg Hunt included 1st – Bentley Gladman, and 2nd – Caroline Powell.

Around 100 children showed up ready to gather the Easter eggs at the Rock Port City Park Saturday, April 13, thanks to New Horizons members who made a great morning of fun for everyone to enjoy.

New Horizons hosted their annual Easter Egg Hunt in Rock Port on Saturday, April 13, 2019, at the Rock Port City Park. Over 500 eggs were filled with candy and treats and spread all over the park for youngsters ages toddler to 4th graders to gather.

Alexi Stoner, above, and Brandon Athen, below, were the lucky finders of a golden egg and got to take home Easter baskets full of goodies.

Lena and Oliver Paris, children of Brittany and Kory Paris of Rock Port, are all smiles after meeting the Easter Bunny, who stopped by the Easter egg hunt on Saturday.

The Fairfax Easter Egg Hunt will be held April 20, 2019, at 12:00 noon in the city park, weather permitting. In the case of inclement weather, the hunt will be moved to the old gym at the school.
