The TEC Club met Tuesday afternoon at the home of Susan Braams. It was a beautiful spring day and all members were present. Everyone commented on the flowering trees they had seen and we had several knowledgeable tree experts who gave us the  names  of these beauties. Game winners were Deb Johnson, high, Merylan Lowrey, second high, and Janell  McQuinn, low.

Susan was hostess and had been to the Hospital Auxiliary Bake Sale. She couldn’t resist the pecan pies she found there and we couldn’t resist them either. She didn’t know who had baked them, but we all send our vote to this lady for “pie baker of the year.” Susan did pass around whipped topping  and that goes great heaped on pecan pie.

Conversation still centered on the flood damage, the huge rock trucks we meet on the roads, and why the water level seems to fluctuate. Music contests and trips to state were in the conversation, too. Everyone had a special occasion of some kind in the near future and we left thinking about the places we had to go, and wishing everyone God’s speed.
