The Rock Port Blue Jays will celebrate their 2019 Homecoming next week. This year’s theme is “Game On!”

Dress-up days will be: Monday – (No school) Play a board game, take pictures, post to Twitter and tag @rpbuejays; Tuesday – Scrabble – Wear the first letter of your name and make words with others, take pictures, and tag @rpbluejays on Twitter; Wednesday – Operation – Dress as a doctor or nurse or be a patient (with a fake injury); Thursday – Life – Dress up as a future career; Friday – Battleship – Classes will compete in a competition similar to Battleship. Students should wear their assigned class color, have the most wearing that color, and win! Junior High will be separate. Assigned colors are: seniors – gray, juniors – blue, sophomores – black, freshmen – white, 8th graders – blue, and 7th graders – white.

The Powder Puff Football game will be Wednesday, September 4, at 6:00 p.m. The Rock Port Booster Club will hold a jersey auction that evening.

The Homecoming Parade will be downtown Friday, September 6, at 2:20 p.m. The Rock Port Booster Club’s Tailgate supper will begin at 6:00 p.m. at Blue Jay Stadium. The football game between the Rock Port Blue Jays and Platte Valley begins at 7:00 p.m.
