Tarkio Elementary School held a Scholastic Book Fair Monday, September 23, through Friday, September 27. “Arctic Adventure Book Fair, Snow Much to Read” was the theme. The book fair helps the school promote learning while raising money to purchase new books and materials for the library. Money raised at the book fair has been used to purchase a book exchange display and book drop and provided field trip experiences to children meeting the yearly Mark Twain Ultimate Reading Challenge, as well as incentives for quarterly awards and schoolwide reading celebrations.
