On August 24, 2019, the Rock Port Police Department began investigating Selena Somerville (date of birth 6/18/1998) in reference to inappropriate contact with a minor. A probable cause statement was submitted to the Atchison County Consolidated Court for furnishing pornographic material to a minor. A warrant was issued for Somerville on September 3, 2019, for that crime. As the investigation continued, information was presented that gave the Rock Port Police Department grounds to submit a second probable cause statement to the Atchison County Consolidated Court. An additional warrant was then issued on October 10, 2019, for Somerville for three counts of Statutory Rape, three counts of Statutory Sodomy, and one count of 2nd degree Child Molestation. Both warrants remain active as Somerville is still at large.

All persons are innocent until proven guilty by a court of law.
