The TEC Club met Tuesday afternoon at the home of Pam Cooper to be welcomed by beautiful fall decorations both inside and out. The only trouble with fall is that winter is not far behind. We were all ready for pitch games. Merylan Lowrey was more than ready. She and Deb Johnson stayed at the head table five out of eight hands. Pam won second high with only a nine point difference. Norma Bradfield had low. Susan Braams had to leave at three so Debbie Johnson substituted for the last half of the game. Sorry, Susan, but you missed a delicious dessert.

Pam was hostess and served a Paula Deen pumpkin cake with candy corn and pumpkin candies. Then she asked, “Who wants coffee?” and that started the chitchat about coffees and coffee substitutes. How that turned into a discussion about bullying, I don’t know. Too much caffeine, I think. Everyone seemed to have something to contribute with examples of bullying they had witnessed. When David came in for supper, someone did notice it was past time to go home. It was a jolly afternoon we all enjoyed with absolutely no bullying.
