The Women’s Evening Edition (WEE) of the Fairfax United Methodist Church will have their annual Ham Dinner and Themed Basket Auction Sunday, October 27, 2019, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Once again they will be serving their delicious meal of ham, cheesy potatoes, green beans, rolls, salads, drink and scrumptious desserts for a freewill donation.

The auction of themed baskets will begin at noon. A few baskets will be available this year that will be of interest to children who would like a chance to “bid” on their own, and with the smaller budget in mind. The traditional “filled to the brim”’ baskets will also be available for bidding.

Proceeds from the event are used to help our community such as Backpack Buddies, Tarkio Food Pantry, C.A.R.E. of Atchison County, Atchison County Salvation Army, After Prom, Festival of Sharing, local church needs, any local need brought to their attention, plus more.

This event is open to the community, so plan to come and enjoy a great meal and lots of fun!

Carry-out meals may be picked up 11:00-11:30 a.m. After 11:30 a.m., carry-outs must go through the line. Call 686-3314 by 11:00 a.m. for carry-out and delivery in Fairfax, or leave your order with any WEE member during the week.
