Bo Graves of Tarkio recently completed his Eagle Scout project at the Allen-Schiffern American Legion Post #199 in Tarkio. Bo removed the old flag pole base and created a memorial garden and put in benches. With the help of volunteers, including his Scout Troop #407 from Burlington Junction, Missouri, and the Tarkio Cub Scouts, 80 hours total were spent creating the beautification at the legion building.

Tarkio Mayor Tim Morehouse and  Post #199 Commander remarked, “Bo is an exceptional young man and it was an exceptional project.” The legion members are very appreciative of Bo’s hard work and dedication to seeing the project through.
