The Tarkio Community Christmas Celebration will be held Saturday, December 7, 2019, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Tarkio Community Building (603 S. 3rd Street). Vendors are welcome to set up booths free of charge and sell their wares during the event (call 660-744-4049 or 660-736-5254).

Bring your kiddos to see Santa and to have their photo taken with him. Also have them bring their Santa letters so that they can be printed in the Atchison County Mail.

The Mule Barn Theatre Guild will provide ornament making and the kids can also color Christmas pictures and cards for Tarkio Rehabilitation and Health Care residents.

The Tarkio Lions Club will be serving free chili and hot dogs.
