On November 12, 2019, at approximately 12:58 p.m. the Rock Port Police Department responded to 200 W. Calhoun in Rock Port, Missouri, in reference to a 911 hang up. Upon arrival officers determined this was an active domestic dispute.  Officers arrested Rebecca A. Braniff, 37, of Rock Port. Braniff was charged with assault, disorderly conduct, and two counts of possession of drug paraphernalia.  Braniff was cited and then released from custody. The Rock Port Police Department was assisted by the Atchison County Sheriff’s Office.

Shannon Sherwood, Chief of Police, Rock Port Police Department, submitted a press release which stated, “All subjects are innocent until proven guilty by a court of law.”
