Dreyton Parsons, son of Donnie and Stephanie Parsons, was one of many children who visited Santa at the Rock Port Christmas Mall last Saturday. The jolly elf was escorted by the Rock Port Firemen to the Atchison County Memorial Building. (More pictures on page 16.)

The Rock Port Christmas Mall was sponsored by the Rock Port Chamber of Commerce and Burlap & Bows, LLC, Saturday, December 7, 2019, at the Atchison County Memorial Building. Shoppers spent the day visiting the vendors’ booths.Winners of the Rock Port Chamber Bucks drawing were: Jamie Hawkins,  $250; Janice Phelps, $150; and Jan Pyeatt, $100. Janice gave her winnings back, which were then given to a local family.
