The Atchison County Commission met Thursday, November 14, 2019. Present were: Presiding Commissioner Curtis Livengood, South District Commissioner Richard Burke, and North District Commissioner Jim Quimby. Susette Taylor, Clerk of the Commission, was in Greene County observing a Risk Limiting Audit of their November election.
Presiding Commissioner Livengood called the meeting to order.
Minutes of the previous meeting were read and approved. Bills were reviewed and approved.
The commissioners continued the county property inspection.

The Commission did not meet Tuesday, November 19, 2019. The commissioners and Clerk Taylor were attending the annual meeting of the Missouri Association of Counties.

The Commission met Tuesday, November 26, 2019. Present were: Presiding Commissioner Curtis Livengood, South District Commissioner Richard Burke, North District Commissioner Jim Quimby, and Susette Taylor, Clerk of the Commission.

Minutes of the previous meeting were read and approved. Bills were reviewed and approved.
Clerk Taylor presented a Long-Term Recovery Project form prepared by the Northwest Missouri Regional Council of Governments for Atchison County on behalf of the North Nishnabotna Drainage District. In response to a Presidential Disaster Declaration, applicants seeking CDBG funding for potential projects in the long-term recovery funding category must first submit this form, plus additional attachments. The documents were reviewed by the commission. Presiding Commissioner Curtis Livengood, signed the project proposal, which is a preliminary request and is not a substitute for a full CDBG application, nor does it assure funding from CDBG. Clerk Taylor forwarded the signed document to Jerri Dearmont, Northwest Missouri Regional Council of Governments.

Abatements from tax books: 2019, $2,654.74; 2018, $ 277.25; 2017, $ 50.18.

There were no additions to or abatements from the Real Tax books.
Monica Bailey, Atchison County Development Director, met with the commission to present her monthly report.
The commission continued to 2020 budget review with Clerk Taylor.
