4-H and FFA members with beef projects are invited to attend the Atchison County Fair’s market beef weigh-day on Saturday, January 4, 9:00-10:00 a.m., at the Atchison County Veterinary Clinic in Tarkio.

Cattle will be weighed for the rate-of-gain contest. Youth interested in showing at the Missouri State Fair can have noseprints taken on their animals for nomination.

Market livestock are not required to be weighed at the official weigh-day. However, animals not weighed are not eligible for the rate-of-gain contest or in-county champion at the livestock show.

The Atchison County Fair has been set for July 6-11.
