With supplies provided by Second Harvest and distributed by Community Services, Inc. and the 139th Airlift Wing, Missouri Air National Guard, stationed at Rosecrans Memorial Airport in St. Joseph, Missouri, Atchison County residents received a wonderful donation of food in front of Community Services in Tarkio Thursday, May 21, 2020. This was the second mobile food drop-off held this month in Tarkio. The food included a box of fresh produce and was free to everyone no matter their income. So many people stopped for the food that the supplies ran out after an hour (225 families totaling 588 people were served).
