Thanksgiving is almost here. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic and loss of jobs or income, many people are struggling to put food on the table. Thanksgiving is a time to be thankful for one’s blessings by celebrating with family and eating a delicious bounty, but many can’t even afford the turkey or ham.

To help those in need, the Tarkio Chamber of Commerce, with the help of the Tarkio Nutrition Center, is asking everyone to donate a turkey or a ham. The frozen meats can be dropped off at the Tarkio Nutrition Center now through November 20 and will be distributed to locals in need. Let’s make Thanksgiving a good one this year!
