Backwards dig? No problem! Senior Bryn-nan Poppa has been phenomenal this season setting up her Lady Wolves’ teammates.

The East Atchison Volleyball Team traveled to St. Joseph, Missouri, to compete in sectional action Saturday, October 31, 2020, at St. Joseph Christian High School. The girls faced the Midway Vikings, who were 20-1 on the season.

The Lady Wolves came out the first set strong making few mistakes and beat Midway 25-22. The second set didn’t go as smoothly. Several mistakes plagued the Lady Wolves and they couldn’t recover, losing 11-25. In the third set, Coach Parsons was able to rally the girls and get them to move on to the next set. As the third set progressed EA gained momentum, leading the Vikings 21-17 before Midway worked their way back to win 26-24. Midway went on to win the fourth set 10-25. The East Atchison Lady Wolves battled their way through and never quit, and have nothing to hang their heads about.

The Lady Wolves finished their season with an overall record of 19-6 and a 275 Conference record of 12-1.
