Fairfax Xi Lambda Beta Chapter of Beta Sigma Phi is putting out a plea this year asking all Fairfax residents who are able to light up their homes and businesses as a reminder to celebrate this blessed holiday season.

COVID-19 has affected many of us in different ways so now more than ever we need to remember the reason for the season and light up the town.

Out-of-town judges will be touring Fairfax the second week in December to judge Christmas house decorations. Categories will include: religious, traditional, patriotic, and whimsical. A grand prize will be awarded for the overall winner. A sign will be placed in the winners’ yards.
