The East Atchison football team met December 16 to recognize their achievements. Coach Aaron Behrens welcomed those present and gave a review of the season.

Participation awards were presented to Trent Kingery, Tanner Rollins, Garret Rosenbohm, Tylor Kephart, Slade Rosenbohm, and Jesse Navin.

This year’s letter winners were: Linkin Murry, Sammie Litherbury, and Collin Hedlund, freshmen; Jarrett Spinnato, Braden Graves, Connor Brown, and Charlie Litherbury, sophomores; Kaylin Merriweather, Bo Graves, Carter Holecek, Josh  Smith, Oliver Smith, Cameron Nance, Aaron Schlueter, and Cody Frohn, juniors; and Ian Hedlund and Grant Turnbull, seniors.

The following post-season awards were announced:

All Conference: Ian Hedlund, 1st Team defensive end, 2nd Team runningback; Kaylin Merriweather, 1st Team linebacker; and Jarrett Spinnato, 2nd Team kicker and punter

All District: Josh Smith – All Purpose back; Aaron Schlueter, offensive line; Braden Graves, WR/TE; Kaylin Merriweather, linebacker; Ian Hedlund, defensive end; Cameron Nance, DL

All State: Cameron Nance, DL, first time; Aaron Schlueter, OL, first time; Carter Holecek, defensive back, first time; Kaylin Merriweather, linebacker, second time; Ian Hedlund, defensive end, third time.
