Reven S. Herron, 34, Rock Port, Missouri, sustained minor injuries in a one-vehicle accident January 24, 2021.

According to the accident report, Herron was southbound on Missouri Hwy. 111 .25 miles north of I-29 exit 107 at 2:00 a.m., driving a 1994 GMC 1500 pickup.

The vehicle traveled off the east side of Hwy. 111 and started skidding. The driver overcorrected and the vehicle returned to the roadway, then skidded off the west side of the road. The passenger side of the pickup struck a tree and began to overturn. The pickup came to rest on the west side of Hwy. 111. 

Herron, who was not wearing a safety device, was transported by private vehicle to Community Hospital-Fairfax. The pickup was totaled in the accident and towed from the scene by Double M Towing.

The accident was investigated by Missouri State Highway Patrol Sgt. M.P. Quilty. He was assisted by the Atchison County Sheriff’s Department, Rock Port Fire Department, and Atchison-Holt Ambulance District.
