PFC Clayton C. Cook, 18, of Sidney, Iowa, graduated from USMC bootcamp at Marine Corps Recruit Depot, San Diego, California, on December 30, 2020. PFC Cook completed 13 weeks of intensive basic training at MCRD as one of 62 recruits in Training Platoon 3222.

Immediately following graduation PFC Cook went to Camp Pendleton for 28 days of military combat training, then on to his Military Occupational Specialties School at Naval Air Station, Pensacola, Florida.

PFC Cook is the son of Clint Cook and Emily Myers, grandson of Loretta Myers and Rick and Renee’ Haughton, and great-grandson of Jean Mensen.
