After a week of wet weather rained out what was to be the East Atchison Wolves’ Varsity Baseball Team’s first games of the season, the Wolves traveled to Guilford to play Platte Valley Tuesday, March 30, 2021. The Wolves fell behind early and weren’t able to come back, losing 1-7.

Cameron Oswald started the game for EA Wolves Varsity. The pitcher surrendered seven runs on 11 hits over five and a third innings, striking out four. Josh Smith threw two-thirds of an inning out of the bullpen. Smith, Aaron Schlueter, Carter Holecek, and Zack Stevens each managed one hit.
