Rock Port National Honor Society members pack the pop can tabs they collected for the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Kansas City.

Due to the pandemic this past year, many schools who annually collect tabs for the Ronald McDonald House Charities Kansas City were not able to make the donations as usual. So collectively this year, a “Moment of Impact” was created. Fourteen schools in Northwest Missouri came together for some fun school vs. school competition to see who could raise the most pounds in tabs for donation. The participating Northwest Missouri schools collected a total of 1,530 pounds of pop tabs!

Tarkio Elementary collected a total of 22.25 pounds. Kindergarten collected the most tabs with 6.5 pounds.

Rock Port students collected 43.6 pounds of pop can tabs for the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Kansas City.
