East Atchison’s Tommi Martin placed 1st in the javelin throw with a distance of 32.39 meters at Indian Relays April 23, 2021, in Tarkio.

Alivia Baucom threw the discus 37.48 meters to win the event at Indian Relays.

East Atchison’s Hunter Bennett placed 2nd in the triple jump with 10.57m at Indian Relays.

Micah Makings triple jumps to third place with 10.40m at Indian Relays.

Rock Port’s Brecken Kelly pole vaults to 5th place with a height of 2.55m at Indian Relays.

The Cameron girls’ team won first place with 97 points. Two Indian Relays records were broken this year. Keelin Engel of Worth County jumped 11′ and broke the girls’ pole vault record of 10′, set in 2008 by Boney of Worth County. Tyler Blay of West Nodaway ran the 3200 meter run in a time of 9:40.75, breaking the record of 10:13.2 set by Moore of West Platte in 2004.

Atchison County athletes posting first place finishes included Tommi Martin in the 800 meter run and javelin throw, Faith Anderson in the 300 meter hurdles and high jump, and Alivia Baucom in the discus throw.
