They offer transportation in 87 Missouri counties. Depending on the county, OATS Transit offers either door-to-door service or pick-up points along the way. They also contract with a number of agencies to provide service to their clients. Drivers will take you to medical appointments, shopping, work or other errands you need to run.
Scheduling a ride is easy- just call 800-831-9219 and they will connect you with a coordinator who will take care of your needs. Rides must be scheduled 24-48 hours in advance. Buses are accessible to persons with mobility devices. You can find the full schedule for your area on their website at www.oatstransit.org. Click on bus schedules to find your county. Schedules vary in each county depending on available local funding sources to cover the service. Fares may apply, and face masks are required on the bus.
The monthly schedule from Atchison County is:
• Shenandoah: 1st Tuesday each month
• Maryville: 3rd Tuesday each month
• Tarkio in-town: 1st and 3rd Friday
• St. Joseph: 5th Tuesday of the month
