The Tarkio High School Choir sang “Dark Brown Is The River,” “May A Rainbow Run Beside You,” “Popular,” and “Bohemian Rhapsody” at the Spring Music Concert Wednesday, April 28, 2021.

The Tarkio 6th Grade, Junior High, and High School music students presented their spring concert to family and friends Wednesday, April 28, 2021, in the Tarkio High School Gym.
The Tarkio 6th Grade Band played “La Cucaracha,” “The Magnificent Seven,” and “America the Beautiful.” Band members include: flutes – Danika Agnew, Destiny Begaye, Dezzy Kimpston, Bailey Wennihan, and Delainee White; alto saxophones – Jeremy Bomar, Velicity Hegstrom, Danni Irvine, and Chase Pearson; clarinet – Kambry Bullock; trombones – Bella Bywater, Aiden Jimenez, Gavin Mattice, Aubrey Sachs, and Matthew Vance; trumpets – Teahen Hannah, Dalton Hogue, Finn Hurst, Parker Livengood, and Anakin Wake; and percussion – Grace Caudill and Brody Wennihan.
The Tarkio Junior High Choir performed “Flashlight” and “You Are Loving, You Are Loved.” The Tarkio Junior High Band played “Take Me Out To The Ball Game,” “Serengeti (African Rhapsody),” and “Novena Rhapsody for Band.” Junior high band and choir students include: flutes – Jillian Hannah, Alyson Wooten, and Bresayda Jimenez; clarinets – Savannah Caldwell, Haylee Clark, Abbie Harms, Zoe Madron, Kennedy White, and Jaeka Wiley; alto saxophones – Cole Anderson, Emily Gebhards, Jina Harbit, Rainy Nordhausen, and Teagen Wennihan; baritone saxophone – Kamryn Brown; trumpets – Sydnee Bruns, Lizzie Schlueter, Quin Staten, and Carter Wennihan; baritone – Riley Sachs; trombone – Gabe Harms; tuba – Owen DeRosier; percussion – River Dow, Connor Morton, Bo Peregrine, and Isaac Vette.

Awards were handed out to band and choir members. All received their letters. Devin Guajardo and Harley Caudill received the Senior Band Award and the trophy for being in band all four years. Students were also recognized for earning silver medals at State Music: band students – Jozee Eaton, Faith Anderson, Devin Guajardo, Morgan Shaw, and Alex Barnett; and vocal students – Alex Barnett, Claire Martin, Faith Anderson, Addison Noland, Drew Sanders, Kiara Hines, and Morgan Shaw.
