The High Creek Cemetery Association, Watson, Missouri, is making plans to celebrate the annual Memorial Day Tea. It was necessary last year to cancel this event due to the COVID pandemic.

The directors and helpers will once again be putting up the flags throughout the cemetery and church area for this breathtaking, memorial and patriotic display for this holiday weekend. Cookie recipes are being sorted and trial runs on cookie baking are being made in preparation for the event.

CDC guidelines will be observed. Face masks will be required and social distancing will be observed. Hand sanitizer will be available for use.

Mark your calendar for Sunday, May 30, 2021, from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. to drive to the High Creek Cemetery east of Watson. Stop in at the church and have refreshments and enjoy a welcoming visit. Renew acquaintances with family and friends and catch up on the news from a lost year. Bring your lawn chairs and sit a while under the shade tree.
